In this way the site measures the time our computer needed to download and upload the information packet and informs us the internet speed of our bandwidth.

By this test we measure the actual speed of the Internet and in the same time the real internet speedof our access to the internet. The actual speed limit is the amount of useful data that your internet connection can transmit and receive in a second. On the other side, the real internet speed includes also non-significant information. But when we make the test, only the actual speed is measured, the real internet speed is not important in this calculation.

Now that we know what our internet speed is, let's see what we can do to improve it. The first solution is to install optimization software. If you have a Dial-Up connection and use Windows 98 or Me, click Start, Settings, and then Control Panel. Right click on the Modems icon and from Properties tab choose the General tab. Use the Maximum Speed Drop-Down menu to select 115200. If this setting causes your Modem to no longer connect, change it to 57600. Windows XP users should click Start, Control Panel and switch to classic view. Double-click the Phone and Modem options and choose the Modem tab. Change the maximum settings port speed to 115200 and if the Modem responds badly or not at all, change the speed to 57600.

Broadband users should think of using a tweak utility such as TCP Optimizer. After downloading the software we must run it and make a backup of our current settings. Save the backup, and follow the instructions in the software to optimize our broadband speed. Don't forget to click apply changes and click Yes if the software ask you to re-boot the computer.Now our computer should run faster. If the new settings do not satisfy you, return to the program and restore your back up settings. If you failed to make a backup, restore Windows default settings.

And the last solution would be to change your internet provider with a better and reliable one. We may choose from a large scale of opportunities. There is no reason to waste our time with a lazy internet speed when we can spend our precious time with a high-speed internet connection.

For a long time, wireless cell phones using broadband were the only solution to communicating on the go. But a few years ago, people developed a new way to communicate with their phones and its called VoIP, or voice over internet protocol. Sony Ericsson W580i Pink Joins The Sony W580i Walkman Range

Pink mobile phones were first introduced to the market around three years ago when the pioneering manufacturer Motorola launched its pink version of the Motorola RAZR V3 handset just before Christmas, other manufacturers then followed suit and this gave rise to a flood of new pink handsets.

The latest pink mobile phone release is the Sony Ericsson W580i, the fourth colour variant from the model range following on from the original Urban Grey, Style White, Boulevard Black the official name for the new colour scheme is Metro Pink.

It is usually around this time of year that retailers get a good idea of what is going to be on offer over the festive period with manufacturers and dealers slowly giving out press releases on new products and rumours flying around the mobile phone forums. There is also an extra feature not found on the F210, TrackID is a service that recognises music tracks, if a user wanted to know more information about a piece of music they were listening to whilst out and about, they can simply record a couple of seconds of sound and the phone will send this to a recognition database which will in turn send back a message to the phone with the name of the artist and track, this can be very useful if in a nightclub, rather than barging through to ask the DJ which track they have on the user can find out almost instantly.

Staying with the music theme, there is also an FM radio for keeping up to date with the latest music releases, news, sports and local traffic and weather reports which also features RDS which will display information sent out by the station such as the artist and track name playing.

The Sony W580i features a 2.0 megapixel camera with support for video recording and playback, digital zoom for close up picture capture and a flash for low light conditions, this is a similar camera to the F210.

One feature that the W580i does have over the F210 is that of a suite of fitness and sports applications including a pedometer, particularly useful if you like to listen to music whilst you jog and want to keep a record of your progress.

The Sony Ericsson W580i Pink Edition offers a more feminine quality to the expanding range of Walkman phones which up until now have been very masculine looking, female mobile users also like to enjoy their music so it makes for a welcome addition to the range.

Just take a look at all the successful marketers out there promoting their products and services.. There are certainly enough to go around. But how do you approach them? That's the key.

The approach I use is to email the person and offer my services. That's right. I tell him who I am, what my skills are and then offer to do something for him...no strings attached. Most marketers are totally taken by surprise by this offer as most people are looking to get something in return. You absolutely must make this clear in your offer that there are no strings, and then wait for a reply.

In most cases, especially if you just happen to catch somebody during a time where they really could use some help, you'll get a positive reply and the marketer you've contacted will fill you in on some items that he may need. If it fits your skills set, which you will of course make known in your email, you now have an opening to make good on the request.

After you've completed the project, whatever it was, you'll most likely get a thank you. In many cases, you will get a counter offer to do something for you. The marketer may ask if you have any products that he can promote. This is your chance to now get something in return without having asked for it.

This approach has worked for me for quite some time now. You might want to give it a shot yourself.

Not only that, send them a free gift as a token of your forgiveness. The customer will think you're from another planet. But guess what? If they ever need something that you happen to be selling, you'll be the first person that they think of.

Customer service complaints. This is another big one. You know what I'm talking about. The customer who emails you with a problem and you didn't get back to them with an answer within five minutes so they send you another email saying something like, "Didn't you get my email? I need HELP!" Sometimes you just have to chuckle at these. All you do is simply write back to the person, when YOUR schedule permits it and tell the person, "I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I was taking care of another customer who had written me previously. I am sure that you would also want to be attended to as quickly as possible. But I am sorry for the delay." If the customer still pursues the issue, apologize again and ask if they'd like a refund on their purchase. Eventually, they will see that they are being unreasonable. If not, they'll ask for their refund and you'll be rid of a very annoying an unreasonable customer, all the while doing everything you could to please them.

The point is, whatever the customer's complain is, they're right. Even if they're wrong, they're right. And the reason is because in their eyes, they ARE right. And nothing you can say or do is going to change that one little bit. If you remember this much, you'll be a lot better off.
